APD Locksmith Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to APD Locksmith’s public website at apdlocksmithomaha.org, the APD business application at app.apdlocksmithomaha.org, and APD-operated forms, customer service tools, chatbot features, employee and business-management features, and connected third-party services. It explains what information APD may collect, why we use it, and the choices available to users.
Information you provide to APD
Depending on how you use APD services, you may provide information such as your name, phone number, email address, service address or city, vehicle or property information, service details, photographs, authorization or ownership information, appointment information, messages, estimates, invoices, payment-related records, employee or business records, and other information you choose to provide.
Website, app and chatbot information
APD may process information submitted through website forms, the APD website assistant, service-request tools, and the APD business application. The website assistant may retain conversation and session information so it can answer questions and, only when the user chooses, help prepare a service-request draft. APD may also process ordinary technical and security information needed to operate, protect and troubleshoot its websites and applications.
How APD uses information
APD uses information to respond to requests, communicate with customers, verify authorization where appropriate, determine whether requested work can be performed, schedule and document service, prepare estimates and invoices, maintain customer and business records, support employees and business operations, provide requested application features, protect users and APD from fraud or misuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve APD’s services.
Connected accounts, OAuth and APIs
Some APD application features may allow an authorized user to connect a third-party account or service, including services such as Google. APD requests access only when a user chooses to connect the applicable feature. The permissions requested depend on the feature being used and should be limited to the access reasonably necessary to provide that feature.
When a user authorizes a connected service, APD may receive account identifiers, authorization tokens, and data made available through the permissions the user grants. For example, an authorized APD feature may access Google Calendar information to display or manage scheduling, or Gmail information when an authorized email feature requires it. APD uses connected-service data only to provide and support the APD functionality for which access was granted, for security and troubleshooting, and as otherwise disclosed in this policy.
Google API Services user data
APD Locksmith’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements. Google user data obtained through authorized Google APIs is not sold and is not used for advertising. APD does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Access is limited to providing or improving the user-facing APD features the user authorized, maintaining security, complying with applicable law, or other uses expressly permitted by Google’s policies and the user’s consent.
Sharing and service providers
APD does not sell personal information or connected-account data. APD may share information with service providers and processors when reasonably necessary to host or operate APD systems, deliver communications, process authorized transactions, provide integrations requested by the user, support accounting or business operations, prevent fraud, protect safety and security, or comply with law. Providers are given only the information reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose and remain subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
SMS and text messaging privacy
When a customer consents to receive SMS or text messages from APD Locksmith, APD uses the customer’s mobile number and messaging consent to send requested service communications. These messages may include appointment and job confirmations, technician assignment and en-route or ETA updates, service-status and completion notices, estimates or invoice notices, payment receipts, and customer-service follow-up. Message frequency varies based on the customer’s service activity. Message and data rates may apply.
APD does not share, sell, rent, or provide mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing. Service providers that help APD transmit or support messages may process this information only as necessary to provide those services on APD’s behalf and may not use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Consent to receive SMS or text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing APD Locksmith services. You may reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for assistance. You may also contact APD Locksmith at 402-707-5393.
Payments
When payment functionality is provided through a payment processor or connected accounting service, payment information may be handled directly by that provider. APD may retain transaction details and business records needed for accounting, customer service, reconciliation and legal obligations, but APD does not intend for its website forms or chatbot to collect full payment-card credentials.
Data retention and security
APD retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining business and accounting records, resolving disputes, protecting safety and security, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by type of information. APD uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Disconnecting a connected account
Users may disconnect an integration through available APD application controls or revoke the integration directly through the applicable third-party account provider. Revoking access prevents new API access through that authorization. APD will delete or de-identify associated authorization tokens and connected-service data when no longer reasonably necessary, subject to legitimate security, legal, accounting, or recordkeeping requirements.
Access, correction and deletion requests
You may contact APD to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information APD maintains about you. APD may need to verify the requester’s identity and may retain information when required or permitted for legal, security, transaction, accounting, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.
Third-party services
APD websites and applications may link to or integrate with services operated by other companies. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Connecting a third-party service is optional unless the particular APD feature requires that service to function.
Changes to this policy
APD may update this policy as its services, integrations or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective update date.
